Invisible prompting
Keep your notes in front of you during screen sharing, screenshots, and recordings. Other people see the slides or the product, not the teleprompter window.
See how the overlay worksFlowPrompter is built around one job: help you look at the camera, stay on your words, and keep the prompt out of what other people see. The work usually happens in three beats. You prepare the script. You follow it while you speak. When you need a recording, Desktop can capture the screen you are demonstrating instead of sending you to a separate recorder.
Online is the fast place to draft and rehearse. Desktop is the place for delivery that must stay clean on a shared screen or in a recorded lesson. You do not have to switch products between those steps. The same script opens where you need it.

See how the overlay worksThe script can follow your speaking pace, wait when you pause, and pick up again when you continue, so you are not tied to a fixed scroll speed.
Open the voice teleprompterRecord the screen you are walking through while you read the script in FlowPrompter Desktop. The point is one workspace for the prompt and the capture.
See the screen recorderThe online teleprompter and the webcam recorder in the browser stay in the browser. They do not capture your desktop screen, and they do not replace the Desktop recorder. Use the web editor when you want to write or rehearse without installing anything. Use Desktop when you need the overlay hidden from a share, or when you want to record the lesson or product walkthrough on this computer.
A typical path looks like this. Draft the outline online. Open the same script on Desktop. Turn on the invisible overlay so you can still read while you share or record. If you are explaining a product, a course module, or a tutorial, start the built-in recorder from Desktop instead of jumping to another capture app. Voice tracking is optional: use it when you want the script to follow your speech, or scroll manually when you prefer full control.
Download the desktop app to prompt and record on a supported computer. Phones can still open the online editor to prepare a script.
Use this recorder on a Mac or Windows PC. On this device you can still prepare a script online, or pick an installer below for a supported computer.
